I specialize in working with students from 4th grade up, providing 1:1 in-home tutoring (able to travel to your location) and counseling in San Francisco. As a Camp Counselor of 8 years at Camp Wonder, I’ve worked with kids of all walks of life and with different constellations of conditions. While the camp is built to give kids with chronic and life-threatening skin diseases a week of freedom from the everyday burdens that come with their condition, many campers have other issues that can complicate their life — I’ve worked with them to overcome these problems to have the best, most self-sufficient time at camp that they are able. These include ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, emotional regulation issues — both related to their skin condition and as a facet of other parts of their life, compromised immune systems, fatigue issues and chronic pain. I can provide coaching in symptom management for academic success and better overall quality of life, as well as individualized tutoring in content areas related to the humanities and social sciences.
